Elmer Eilrich, along with his wife, Frances, founded Eilrich Pool Construction, Inc. in September of 1966.

Kurt had just arrived home from the Navy and Monty only had two more years of school left. Marc, the eldest son of Elmer and Frances, was already working construction and Calvin, the youngest, wanted to work part-time.

Elmer and Frances had retired from 30 years in the well drilling business several years earlier and wanted to help their sons start up a business of their own.

In 1976, Kurt and Monty were the only two left in this family venture. The business was moved from York Road in Bensenville to its present location on Irving Park Road. The name was also changed at that time to Eilrich Bros. Pools Ltd.

In 1988, we opened our second location in Palatine, IL. At that time, we changed our name to include one more important item...spas!

Many changes occured during the year--remodelling, expanding, etc. Many employees have come and gone. Several have stayed forever. Several were "born" into the business. In 2001, Monty's brother left the business. Monty and Sherry's son Matt entered. Wow--now 3rd generation!

Customers old and new have become close friends. Many customers have continued our business relationship since our first year, 1966. Now that's a real blessing!

Sales reps have remained loyal. Their help providing quality products and assistance has been a real asset. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you!

Mom and Dad, for your insight into the future, thank you!

And last, but not least, thank you to all of customers for years of your trust and loyalty. It takes all the aspects pulled together to make a successful business.
